West Green Tree Church of the Brethren was founded a little over 150 years ago. Throughout our history, we have seen many changes, from the ways we engage in worship together to how we interact as a body of faith. Our focus in all that we do and what we believe is founded upon the understanding that our teaching and guidance should be tested out by the scriptures and hold true to the word of God.

The church of the Brethren has a history spanning 300+ years.  It all started in 1708 when 8 radical pietists, compelled by the Scriptures and love of Christ, baptized one another in the Eder River in Germany.   That started a new Jesus movement called the Brethren.
