Hello Family & Friends of Tiny Timbers! My name is Miss Traci & I am excited to teach at the preschool this year! I can't wait to meet everyone and learn all about you. This summer, I have been busy at home with my children. I have an 8 year old daughter named Lona, a seven year old daughter named Eiley, and a five year old son named Nolan. We have spent some time taking day trips to museums, parks, lakes, and many ice cream shops around Lancaster. Here's a little more about me! My favorite hobby is to ride horses! I have a horse named "Goose". He is a very silly horse and very fun to ride. I have been ridding horses since I was seven years old. I also work at a horse stable. I take care of a lot of horses and help young kids learn the basics of horse care! I also have two dogs and two cats (and the kids are REALLY wanting a bunny). When I am not taking care of my animals, I like to have family time with my husband and kids. We love to be outside and explore all the wonderful places in Pa. My family hasn't always lived in the Elizabethtown area. We moved here about seven years ago from upstate New York. So there are still a lot of places in Lancaster and Harrisburg that we haven't seen yet. Through the years, I have been a nanny, worked in a daycare, and was a Para-professional at an elementary school in New York. I also ran a small in-home daycare when my kids were little. I have participated in positive discipline classes and in college, studied early childhood education and psychology. My passion for animals and children is in everything I do. I love teaching children and being around them. I love hearing their stories and seeing their little faces light up when they discover something new. I know this school year is going to be terrific and can't wait to start this new chapter in my life as well as a chapter in your families lives!
