Sarah Westrup, AM & PM Teacher
My name is Sarah Westrup and I will be your child's teacher for the upcoming 2021-2022school year. This will be my third year at Tiny Timbers, my second as the WMF AM/PM Teacher. I am thrilled to continue my role as the classroom teacher for the upcoming year and so look forward to meeting all your children and helping them grow in their love for God and learning
Along with my time at Tiny Timbers, I have many years' experience working with and teaching young children. My undergrad studies were in Elementary Education, and I served as a reading teacher to kindergarten through third grade students my first year out of college. I also taught preschool for four years in two different Cincinnati, Ohio schools.
When not teaching, I am enjoying family time with my six-year-old daughter, Clara; husband, Joel; and two dogs, Sterling and Theodore. I love to garden, bake, swim, and stay active through Zumba!
As we all return to a new 'normal' after a very challenging year and a half, I so look forward to helping your child become accustomed to school in a consistent and loving environment.
Chelsey Santiago, AM Assistant
I've lived in Lancaster County all my life and graduated from Hempfield and started pursuing college, knowing I wanted to do something involving working with kids. I changed majors from Child Development to Early Childhood Education but ultimately never finished a degree as I ended up meeting my husband, Caesar, on a mission trip to Haiti, where we were teaching VBS to the children there.
My whole life, if you would have asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said a wife and Mom. We are blessed with two children, Caleb and Meira Joy.
I am so excited for God to help me as I help guide the children in their walk with Christ.
After spending time with family, some of my hobbies include cooking/baking, going to yard sales & taking walks.
