PRE-K  AM  CLASS

Sarah Westrup, AM & PM Teacher

My name is Sarah Westrup and I will be your child's teacher for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. This will be my second year at Tiny Timbers, as I served as the MWF AM Teaching Assistant last school year. I am thrilled to transition to the classroom teacher for the upcoming year and so look forward to meeting the children and helping them grow in their love for God and learning. When not teaching, I enjoy family time with my husband, daughter and two dogs. I love to read, bake and spend as much time outside as possible. As we all return to a new 'normal' after a very tumultuous spring, I so look forward to helping your child become accustomed to school in a  consistent and loving environment.

Emilia Alfaro, AM Assistant

Kelley Ebersole, PM Assistant

My name is Kelley Ebersole and I will be assisting the preschool teacher for the MWF PM preschool class. I am excited for the Fall and the start of a new school year. I grew up in Maytown and now reside there with my husband and two young boys. We attend Community Bible Church in Marietta where I enjoy volunteering in the nursery on Sunday mornings. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and painting. I am very much a hands on individual and love teaching my own children through that style of learning. I look forward to meeting everyone and enjoying the upcoming school year together.

She joined the staff at Middletown Christian School in 1989 and taught there until they closed in 2011. She and her husband share two sons who are happily married and are working for God's kingdom.

Kim Houser, AM Assistant

Hi, I am Miss Kim and this is my 2nd year being the TTH 3's am teacher's aid. I am very excited for this upcoming school year. A little about me...I have been married to Maurice for 38 years and we have two adult children, Kyle and Amy. The light of my life are my two grandchildren, one of which is a graduate of Tiny Timbers. I attend West Green Tree Church and am involved with the women's ministry and the ladies Bible study. I was a teacher's aid at another preschool for ten years working with both 3 and 4 year old children. I love Jesus, my family, animals (especially elephants), music and books. I am looking forward to meeting your child and getting to know them. They are truly a gift from God.

Melodie Shumaker, AM Assistant

My name is Melodie Shumaker. I will be one of the teacher's aids for the TTH class. I am happy to work with your child because preschoolers are so much fun. I love to watch them grow and learn. Some things about me...I am married to Terry & we celebrated 44 years together this spring. We have two married sons and 8 grandchildren. We have a Scottish Terrier named Sadie. I enjoy crafts, sewing, reading and crocheting/knitting. I love the winter season, the color green and eating and baking breads of all kinds. I retired from E-town Community Nursery School after 24 years and worked at Kids Playhouse for six years.

Director & assistant Director

Cindy Seitz

My name is Cindy Seitz. I am the director at Tiny Timbers. I am looking forward to a wonderful new preschool year. After last year's early shut down, we are praying that this coming year will be much different and we can be together and share God's love with the children and the families until the official end of the year. I have attended West Green Tree for as long as I can remember and the warmth of love that surrounds me is great and I hope you will feel it too. I am married, have two sons, two daughters-in-law, one granddaughter that attends Tiny Timbers and one little grandson. Tiny Timbers is starting its 23rd school year in October and God has provided us with many little precious children over the years.

In Matthew, Jesus tells us to become like little children. No wonder he said that. Little children are friendly-joyful-forgiving-compassionate-trusting and have a pure heart. May God bless you as you seek to know Him through a precious little preschooler.  Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

Sarah Clugston

My name is Sarah Clugston, I am the Tuition Clerk for Tiny Timbers.  I am a grandmother of 4, 3 boys and 1 girl who all attended Tiny Timbers over the years. I love to crochet and participate with the Prayer Shawl group of West Green Tree CoB.  I am retired from Administrative assistant position. The best part of my retirement is participating with the Tiny Timbers preschool, whether it is with the children or working in supporting the staff during the year.  I enjoy seeing the children and hearing how they are growing and changing through their time here at Tiny Timbers. Thank you for entrusting your precious little ones to our care for this year.
