  • Read the word (1st-6th grade)

Our memory verse is Colossians 1:18. "He is the head of his body, the church; he is the source of the body's life. He is the first-born Son, who was raised from death, in order that he alone might have the first place in all things."

Read about how we should act in

    Colossians 3:8-17.

Planting seeds.... When we share about how Jesus works in our lives or tell a friend about Jesus, sometimes we call that "planting a seed". It means we're giving a seed of truth to someone and if they choose to water it and feed it, God will grow into their life.

What does it look like when a seed grows? Ask an adult to help you plant a seed at home (appleseeds work well). Start by placing the seed in a wet papertowel and keeping it in a plastic baggie so it doesn't dry out. In a few days when it sprouts, plant it in some soil so it keeps growing!
